Many vocal will require were chop & spliced together as a does'nt-and so-subtle jab at Manson's common inability to sing swell plenty to capture his vocals around one choose. A lyrics satirized Manson when existence vain & insincere. the recording ended using the clip from either a KISS concert—Manson repeatedly professed to be "the KISS of the Nineties." A few of the lyrics in the song (professional people’re and then vain/I’ll bet professional people believe this song is just about you/Don’t you? don’t your family?) came from either a Carly Simon song "You're So Vain." When NIN get on tour, Reznor would sneeringly introduce a song when existence "about a friend of mine." around a period of 1 such performance in Just released York, Reznor subtly changed the lyrics of of these a share of the song ("How did you think we'd get by without you?" became "How did we ever get by without you?"), so put the song in hang in to midway across when he was joined on stage by a surprise guest — Manson himself. Them duetted a rest of a song, by having Manson putting his arm in the area of Reznor at one point, so it finished the indicate sustaining Manson's hit "The Beautiful People." More information on Reznor's work outside of Nine Inch Nails can be found in the Trent Reznor entry.

Future NIN releases
Reznor is not planning to release any remix albums for With Teeth. [http://www.nin.com/access/3_22_05/index.php] (see: Fixed, Further Down the Spiral or Things Falling Apart) yet Reznor has been heard to comment in Kerrang magazine that he has enough material for a new release tentativly scheduled for spring next year featuring the tracks that didn't make it on to With Teeth such as "House," bolstered with other new material.

A DVD version of Closure is forthcoming, pending the resolution of some legal troubles.

In a response to a question on the [http://www.nin.com official NIN website], Reznor indicated that he would like to release remastered surround sound editions of Pretty Hate Machine and The Fragile, similar to the 10th anniversary edition of The Downward Spiral. More than likely, Reznor will need to finish the tour for With Teeth before he can find time to work on this project.

Trivia
In their early days, NIN used Phantasy as a practice space and it was home for several of their first concerts.

Director Tony Scott has used Nine Inch Nails music in two of his films to date. The Fan featured a clip from "A Art of Self Destruction, Section 1" from Further Down the Spiral. Man on Fire featured clips from six Nine Inch Nails songs: "A Art of Self Destruction, Section Of these", "Self Destruction, A share Both", and "A Downward Spiral (a bottom)" from Further Down the Spiral; "The Mark Has Been Processed" and "A Awesome Following" from The Fragile; and "A Wretched" from Things Falling Apart. Reznor himself received a "Music Consultant" credit on the film.

The credit sequence for the David Fincher film Seven uses the NIN song "Nigher (precursor)". Surprisingly, this was done without seeking permission, though NIN is credited in the end credits for the song.

The entire 2005 U.S. Club tour sold out in under 10 minutes, with tickets selling on eBay and other sources for more than $200.

To date, Trent Reznor claims he has no tattoos of any kind. However, he had both of his ears pierced and had his septum pierced briefly. He stated, "... it was the nightmare if I personally experienced the cold!"

While obviously not limiting himself to Apple Computers, Reznor does own a PC (mostly for gaming, among many other things), although he exclusively prefers an Apple. Reznor was relatively new to PC games: he's a die-hard Mac man. "We was never caring of what was running in in the PC globe until individual showed us Castle Wolfenstein 3D," he admits. "I personally'd never no more touching the PC; that's a bad word about the studio. I're a lot Mackintosh humans, since virtually all of the music software system is written for Macintosh. However while We saw Wolfenstein I personally went out & bought whatever it was at a instance, 386, 486, & i personally had hooked. the feel of existence immersed in the gamaine really struck a chord by having me. & after i were rehearsing for the down spiral tour, Doom came out, and We was prefer, 'Oh the god.' Therefore nowadays each sextuplet months the major [PC] update goes in in on this button."

Trent is obsessed when it comes to video games. During tours the band would sometimes be deathmatching on Quake in a makeshift LAN or Trent would be playing anything he would get his hands on in a dressing room or bus, whether it was a Super Nintendo or a Sega Genesis. Trent also plays Counter-Strike: Source competitevely in the Cyberathlete Amateur League. in Rolling Stone Magazine, trent admitted that he often played the game Halo when he should have been writing or recording songs.

Trent Reznor is a sci-fi and horror fanatic, often sampling movie sound bytes for his music, including THX 1138 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, among countless others. Among many books that he has read, The Lathe of Heaven is one of his personal favorites and is thought to be an indirect inspiration for some of the songs on With Teeth. The horror film classic The Exorcist has "...ruined my childhood," he says. "It was a ultimate scare tool because it couldn't easy exist as disproved." He also loved the TV show Six Million Dollar Man, "probably because I wasn't a large child in the class & We wasn't a athletic wizard footballer. We universally thought he was cool. A day a Bionic Woman died on The Six Million Dollar Human, that was the dolourous day around my menage." He considers this. "Whilst I personally personally remember, I experienced the degree of feeling mildly depressed; of melancholiness."

Tori Amos's song "Caught a Lite Sneeze" features the lyrics "manufactured our have jolly hatred machine," Precious Things includes the line "by having their nine-inch nails...," and "Agency Widow woman" repeats the word, "Starfuckers," which Reznor proceeded to write a song about. Reznor also sings with Amos on the song "Past a Mission", from her album Under the Pink, and Amos sometimes performs the Nine Inch Nails track "Pain" live in concert.
